What you learn at AIMI

Three programmes that build on each other: from confident everyday use of AI, through strategy, to responsibility. Together they form the content foundation of everything we do: as a continuous path in the AI Academy, as a modular toolkit in our AI Trainings, and adapted for each age group in schools.

The three programmes build on one another. Anyone developing an AI strategy first needs to understand what the technology can do and where it fails. Anyone responsible for governance needs both. Otherwise regulation misses its target.

You don't have to complete all three. But you should know at which level your question sits.

AI Fluency & Management

«Can I use AI with confidence?»

You understand how modern AI actually works: from the training model to the context window, RAG and fine-tuning, and why the same design makes it both brilliant and error-prone. You learn to recognize hallucinations, bias and sycophantic answers.

You work precisely with the machine and know how to use it correctly to unlock its full potential: prompting strategies, your own agents, your own workflows. And you can explain your judgment to superiors, clients and boards.

AI Strategy & Transformation

«How do we create value with AI?»

Most organizations already use AI or are currently rolling it out. But where and how does AI actually create value? What is an AI strategy? How do you introduce AI in a meaningful way? This program starts exactly here. You assess your organization's maturity level honestly rather than generously, develop use cases systematically rather than by chance, and evaluate the value contribution before investing.

We also address: how do business models change when knowledge work becomes partly automatable? What work stays with people, what goes to the machine, and what new work emerges in between? At the end stands a roadmap that fits your organization, plus the tools to guide the transformation instead of just enduring it.

AI Governance & Ethics

«How do we stay in control?»

Whoever uses AI carries the responsibility for it, even when no one in the organization knows exactly what the system does. This program is aimed at leadership, legal and compliance. You get to know the Swiss DPA, the GDPR and the EU AI Act. Which risk class applies to your application, which obligations follow from it and what that means concretely for your processes.

On top come the questions no regulation answers. Where is the line between efficiency and disempowerment? Who is liable when a recommendation was wrong? And how do you write an AI policy that is followed in everyday work instead of gathering dust on the intranet?

Topics
01History of AI regulation
02Legal challenges of AI
03Regulatory principles for AI
04Current regulation at a glance
05Classifying risks
06Governance frameworks for organizations
07Ethics of AI
