Most AI training shows your team how to write prompts. That is not wrong, but insufficient. Organisations usually fail on other questions: which results are reliable, which models are even eligible, which data may never leave the building, which work stays with humans, and who is liable when something goes wrong.
This depth is usually missing from training programmes. The questions then land with leadership, legal and compliance, with people who do not need a prompting course but the ability to assess opportunities and risks themselves. This responsibility cannot be delegated to a vendor.
As of this month, a legal obligation has been added that affects almost every organisation. Including in Switzerland.
Anyone using AI systems must ensure the appropriate promotion of AI literacy among their staff. The obligation has applied since February 2025, is enforceable since August 2026 and also affects Swiss organisations as soon as their AI outputs are used in the EU.
